TRI is a multidisciplinary production company based in Quebec City that focuses on the meeting of sound, image, object, engineering and life. Navigating between disciplines, TRI's productions mix raw art techniques, new technologies and popular and contemporary arts. Passionate about DIY, "making do" and the power of transformed objects, these artists are constantly in search of new scripting. This "undisciplined" approach implies that it is the projects themselves that dictate the disciplinary needs, places and conditions of creation. Within a multidisciplinary setting, TRI advocates the use of the discipline as a tool or material rather than an end itself, always searching for new correlations between the different practices. In recent years, the trio has accumulated collaborations in the fields of theater, dance, music and visual arts.
