La Petite Maison Mécanique
La Petite Maison Mécanique is an autonomous musical installation, a wooden hut containing an orchestra of sound objects that come alive and respond to each other. These interpretive objects are both ready-made and crafted kinetic sculptures. Like a barrel organ, the score is directed by a mechanical sequencer, a roller that controls and distributes electricity to set the different elements in motion, thus giving rhythm to the interventions of the objects in order to interpret a composition in three parts - percussion, bass and melody.
