Saison Complète

Installation, performance art, episodes and film, Saison Complète is an atypical evolving work that looks like a TV series, an exhibition, a film set and a creative residency! First an installation, the work presents an assembly of machines and kinetic sculptures that crush, wear and tear the material, transforming the space that houses them over time. In four distinct episodes, the piece then puts on the finery of a filmed show: six performers take over the environment, cohabit with the objects and perform ritual and poetic gestures. The perpetual mutation of this invented territory, the glittering lives of these "characters" and the passage of time give rise to a bare plot of ineffable beauty. Punctuated by musical and sound interventions that color the cycles of its evolution, this moving occupation is captured, over its duration, by mechanized camera systems. As an epilogue, the fragments and tapes collected are assembled into a unique cinematographic work that bears witness to this epic.

Saison Complète was created in January 2018 as part of the Mois multi.
